Ron Green is a multimedia professional, a teacher, trainer, qualified engineer and a business manager. He taught in schools in South Australia before becoming the statewide IT advisor for the Education Department of that state. Since the late 1980's he has been a leading figure in establishing curriculum and standards for Computer Education, developing training materials that were used Australia wide and conducting training for IT teachers in the growing field.
Ron Green became a prolific developer of software and educational materials, publishing under the banner of Satchel Software, a marketing brand name of the Education Department of South Australia.
Ron has been a successful commercial programmer, publishing adventure games, word processors and mathematical modeling packages. In recent years he has managed the development of web sites and multimedia packages, including several titles for the Australian Curriculum Corporation and the award winning Key Competencies Professional Development package for teachers and trainers; a multimillion dollar project funded by the Commonwealth of Australia. In 1998 Ron founded "Ron Green: Multimedia and Training Pty Ltd" (RGMT) with the aim to develop world class multimedia, software and courseware for a global market. RGMT in addition to conducting educational and training seminars across Australia, New Zealand and the US, has published several titles. In the early 1990's Ron graduated also in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing.
Ashleigh Green, graduated from an international award winning student web designer (Thinkquest 1999 and 2000) to become a leading web developer before reaching the age of 22. Ash is a gifted programmer in several languages including Macromedia Flash (Action Scripting), SQL, C#, Javascript and ASP.NET applications. Ashleigh's work in database managed websites, originally in the the area of cyber game support, has lead to the development of our new business enterprise, Lock and Key Technology.
In 2003, Ron and Ashleigh, combined their knowledge on the way people learn, the principles of marketing, the imperatives of business, the rigours off large project management and the capabilities of the latest technologies to produce web products that can make significant contributions to both education and business.
